Longmont Chamber Business Before Hours: Recap

April 15, 20253 min read

Starting the day with a room full of motivated professionals, fresh coffee, and meaningful conversation is the way to go. That was the experience at our recent showroom event, Business Before Hours for the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce. It was held Friday, April 11, with over sixty members of the Chamber in attendance!

This monthly morning networking event that brought together local business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders was an energizing kick-off to the day. Chamber members had the opportunity to make new connections, catch up with familiar faces, and learn more about one of Longmont’s long time businesses, Concept 32 and Closet & Storage Concepts, serving the area for over 20 years!

A Warm Welcome at Concept 32

We opened our showroom early to give the Chamber Ambassadors and setup crew time to prepare (they were a huge help!) then the attendees began walking through our doors around 7:30 am. After getting acclimated and getting their coffee and Chick-fil-A bites, Michelle, one of our owners, gave a nice introduction to welcome everyone then we did the drawing.

We had two giveaway prizes: a custom-made cutting board by Wood & Slate, so minty fresh it still had the oil on it (big thanks to Jordan Jur for finishing this beautiful item in time!). Karen Lang from Karuna Acupuncture was the lucky winner! The second item was a gift set of delicious butter from our friends at Bella La Crema in Longmont (won by Michelle Phelan from St. Vrain Foundation). Both of these prizes generated a lot of excitement from the Chamber crowd!

After that our guests received a behind-the-scenes experience: a guided tour of the Concept 32 manufacturing facility, where our custom cabinetry is crafted to the precise specifications of our designers who work with homeowners, builders and interior design partners.

Coffee, Conversation, and Community

In true Business Before Hours fashion, the event offered more than just a venue; it fostered real connections (we met many first-time visitors who were inspired to discuss their home spaces and how to make improvements). Over a breakfast spread (how was the spread, Rick? ;) and hot coffee, professionals from all over Longmont enjoyed good conversations and found new ways to support one another.

Why Events Like This Matter

Business Before Hours events are a valuable benefit of Chamber membership, offering an accessible and engaging way to grow your network while staying connected to the pulse of the Longmont business community. With local hosts like the Elks Lodge last month, these events provide not just networking opportunities, but also insight into the local community.

A Big Thank You

Thank you to the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce members for supporting our event. It’s always inspiring to see the local business community come together for each other. S/O to Haley and Wendi from the Chamber for their guidance and advice.
