Our April 9 Lunch & Learn at the Concept 32 / Closet & Storage Concepts showroom was a big success! And good reminder of why we host these events.

Around 15 interior designers and builders (plus our entire design team) attended for a collaborative session focused on cabinet and closet lighting, decorative wallpaper and custom wallcoverings - how they work together to make a home space really pop and provide a glow up with minimal effort.

The engagement throughout the showroom said it all.

The wallcovering discussion, led by Gabrielle Hewson Designs, sparked a lot of interest since wallpaper is making a big comeback in homes. Attendees were drawn to how custom wallpaper can introduce texture, depth, and personality into spaces that are often overlooked, while not detracting from the cabinetry and architectural details. Gabrielle brought plenty of samples and used the materials in our showroom to present how colors and finishes work to complement each other.

On the lighting side, our partners at Häfele delivered a hands-on, fluid presentation that moved throughout the showroom. Instead of a static presentation, attendees experienced each lighting application in real time, experiencing how the mood of the space can change with a few temperature adjustments from warm to bright. Seeing in person how integrated cabinet and closet lighting can enhance both function and atmosphere from one space to the next made a difference.

That approach led to what we always aim for: good conversations, solid questions, and ideas that attendees can take directly into their projects.

The Mediterranean bar from Spitz was a hit as well, set up right next to our new built-in spaces featuring Shinnoki finishes and real wood fluted doors along with the Hafele lighting.

We were glad to see many guests stick around afterward to connect with our team and presenters.

These events are about more than just products or a SKU, they’re about giving designers and builders the ideas and inspiration to create better spaces for their clients and homeowners.
